Steve Parker has two decades experience working for some of the biggest brands in the UK and globally. He started his career in digital, firstly at Grand Union and latterly at Lean Mean Fighting Machine. Parker sharpened his strategic teeth working on Boots, Waitrose, COI and Emirates whilst at Grand Union, before becoming Head of Planning at Lean Mean where he worked on Foster’s, Strongbow and Unilever. In 2014 he joined M&C Saatchi as Head of Strategy, working on NatWest, Land Rover and more government business than he cares to remember. Whilst at M&C he won two IPA Effectiveness awards, most notably for the FCA’s ‘PPI Deadline’ campaign. He founded BIRD London in 2023.
