Event: What does effective sponsorship look like?

It’s no longer just millennials who are craving experiences…

Brands are increasingly turning to live events and sports to build cultural relevance in a fragmented media landscape.

Global sports sponsorship alone was valued at $82.97bn in 2025 and is forecast by Claight Market Research to reach over $190bn in 2035.

But knowledge of how sponsorship works has not kept pace with demand.

For the longest time, sponsorship has been brushed aside in conversations about marketing effectiveness, treated like a channel that doesn’t fit into the traditional squad of agency capabilities.

So, at our next event, we’re going to dig into what marketing science says about sponsorship.

Join us from 6pm at VCCP Media’s London offices on 10 June as Rory Natkiel, founder of specialist marketing consultancy Box Count, delivers a manifesto for effective sponsorships, and the MediaCat editorial team brings you insights into sponsorship best practices.

You’ll also get the chance to mingle with like-minded folks over some food and drinks. Entry is free but space is limited, so register now to secure your spot. Or else you’ll be sick as a parrot.

Date: 10 June

Time: 6:00pm – 8:30pm

Location: VCCP Media, 66 Berners Street, London, W1T 3NL
